Interior Aluminum Frames
Type I
The original frame system in the industry - screws into the sheet-rock and requires taping and floating to finish.
Type I system accommodates 1/4" and 3/8" glazing.
Type II
A modular system that was developed for greater versatility, strength, and easier installation. It feature snap-on trim that conceals the fasteners and provides clean design lines. Type II frames are installed after the walls are finished and painted.
Type II system accommodates 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" glazing.
